MBCP Gel can be used to fill different periodontal and peri-implant defects. Its 'Gel' form allows it to adapt immediately and perfectly to the geometry of the defect.

Derived from the MBCP concept, the material is rapidly invaded by cells and replaced by live bone. MBCP Gel is a material of choice for filling periodontal intra-bone defects, extraction pockets for better preservation of the alveolar ridge, periodontal defects, and defects in peri-implants.

MBCP Gel is a 100% synthetic injectable bone substitute. It is comprised of granules of biphasic calcium phosphate in suspension in a soluble polymer. The spaces between the granules which are created by the polymer offer total macroporosity. The implant is therefore open to the diffusion of biological fluids which accelerate cell invasion and this in turn, is responsible for the process of bone resorption/substitution
